WELCOME to East Fairview Church!  We’re glad you came and hope youa warm welcome. Relax and worship…you’re among friends.  We hope our fellowship, singing, prayers, and study of God’s Word will be a blessing to God and an encouragement to you.

The offering is a weekly opportunity for our members and regular attendees to give tithes and gifts support the ministry of East Fairview Church.  Please record your visit in the black attendance folder located in your row.

The church nursery (which is available for children up to age 4) is located in the main hallway, past the restrooms, on the left.  Please feel free to entrust your children to us for this hour.

Children’s bulletins and other resources are available on the Children’s shelf in the back corner of the sanctuary.

Do you need an attitude adjustment? Are you ready to make some real changes to “stop the flow of negativity that causes happiness to hemorrhage, and start the flow of good attitudes that cause abundant joy to flourish” (James MacDonald)? Then there is a class for you! Come join the Young Adults as we dive into the series by James MacDonald entitled Lord, Change My Attitude. We will begin this class TODAY. Hope to see you there!

Time to begin thinking of our annual church picnic! The picnic will be held in the pavilion on August 27th, at 4:30pm. This year we will be enjoying barbeque chicken by Dennis Peters and homemade sides & desserts by our members. Last year’s big hit, The Dunk Tank, will be making a return this year!!! The voting box is now at the Welcome Desk. Now is the time to vote for who you would like to see make a splash! And of course it just wouldn’t be complete without a water balloon fight to end the evening! Sign up sheets coming soon.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!  It’s time to begin thinking of the next church pictorial directory. We will be taking pictures October 20-22, 2011. Please start marking your calendars to assure that you will be here for picture time! Be on the lookout for more info as time moves closer.

Pamphlets and camp schedules for United Zion Camp are available at the Welcome Desk.  Please pick one up if you are interested.

Suggested Connection…

If you have a friend or neighbor who missed coming to church and would enjoy receiving the bulletin and prayer sheet...drop one off for them.  We heard they appreciate keeping informed!

Don Rummel and his family would like to thank everyone for their thoughtful gestures, kind words, and helpful support during this difficult time.

Bible School

There are registration forms available at the Welcome Desk.  There are also posters and post cards available.  Feel free to take a few and hand them out to friends and family, or post them at your local pool, park, neighborhood, etc.
