Bring a friend ♥
In light of the recent floods, East Fairview is helping out in the community. Team Leaders, through the ESM Team, has decided to help specifically a local family and then the community in general. A friend of Lance and Rachel Rohrer lost everything in their basement and first floor on Wolf Street including both cars. They used their savings to replace one vehicle and now the church is helping to replace some appliances lost in the Flooding.
The WOW campaign still has about $12,500 in tithe money to be used. We are spending that money at Longenecker’s, they will give us contractor pricing on appliances purchased at their store. This is a nice amount of money to spend, if anyone would like to add to it, please mark it for “Flood” and we will see that the money gets spent n Manheim to help this one particular family and then others in Manheim in need of appliances and other durable goods.
New Sunday School Classes began in September. Flyers are posted around the church with descriptions and more details. Classes are from 10:20am to 11:10am.
Volunteers are needed to sort music here at the church. The dates are Tuesday, Sept. 27th, Monday, Oct. 10th, Tuesday, Oct. 11th and Thursday, Oct. 13th. Times are 9am-12 noon or 1pm –4pm. See Betty Nauman to sign up.
Some people have asked for more than just the words on the screen to the newer songs we are singing in worship. Beginning this Sunday, September 25th, there will be music available at the Information Desk for some of the songs we will be singing this morning. Please stop by the desk on your way into worship and pick up the music. We will be doing this on a trial basis. Also, in order to make good use of resources, please return the music to the Information Desk after worship .
