The offering is a weekly opportunity for our members and regular attendees to give tithes and gifts support the ministry of East Fairview Church. Please record your visit in the black attendance folder located in your row.
The church nursery (which is available for children up to age 4) is located in the main hallway, past the restrooms, on the left. Please feel free to entrust your children to us for this hour.
Children’s bulletins and other resources are available on the Children’s shelf in the back corner of the sanctuary.

East Fairview is helping out flood victims in Manheim with the remaining tithe funds from the WOW
Campaign. There is a great need for appliances to replace ones damaged by high waters. We have about $12,500 to spend on new appliances. We have also "adopted" a local family who lived on Wolf St. to help.
Several people here have already stepped up to provide housing and meet other for them. If you would like to contribute money to help with this recovery project, please mark you offerings "flood" and we will use the money to help the most people possible.
Some people have asked for more than just the words on the screen to the newer songs we are singing in worship. There will be music available at the Information Desk for some of the songs we will be singing each morning. Please stop by the desk on your way into worship and pick up the music. We will be doing this on a trial basis. Also, in order to make good use of resources, please return the music to the Information Desk after worship.
The WOW campaign still has about $12,500 in tithe money to be used. We are spending that money at Longenecker's, they will give us contractor pricing on appliances purchased at their store. This is a nice amount of money to spend, if anyone would like to add to it, please mark it for "Flood" and we will see that the money gets spent in Manheim to help this one particular family and then others in Manheim in need of appliances and other durable goods

‘Koinonia’ (Fellowship) is a Greek term that means “that which is shared in common.” In the New Testament this word is used to denote the believers’ common participation in the Triune – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Our Youth Ensemble has been looking for a name to call their ‘singing group’, and since they love God and love to sing praises to God together, they’ve decided on ‘Koinonia’. May we pray for them to grow closer to God, and each other, as they share in their love, joy, laughter, and pain.

Remembrance: Brethren Disaster Ministries has learned Glenn Kinsel passed away October 19th after suffering a stroke while caning a chair, one of his favorite hobbies. He was to turn 89 on Oct. 31. A retired Church of the Brethren pastor, Kinsel was an
administrative volunteer in the BDM office for many years together with his wife, Helen. While a pastor in Virlina District he served as
district disaster response coordinator. The Kinsels also were onsite disaster project leaders. He was an outspoken advocate not only for Brethren Disaster Ministries, but for the Brethren Service Center in New Windsor, Md., helping to greet guests and volunteers and making them feel welcome. "His friendship, his example, his
wisdom, and his spiritual counsel will be missed immensely," said a prayer request from Brethren Disaster Ministries. The Kinsels have been living at the Brethren Home Community in New Oxford, Pa.
