The Weak Reasons We Give

November 7, 2010

Today the flowers are given in honor of our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother’s birthday...Esther Lehman!

It’s time to fill your shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child!  Bring your filled boxes to the church and place them on the table in the Narthex.  We will be collecting from October 31st until November 21st.  There are brochures at the Welcome Desk, and at the

collection table, explaining how to fill your boxes.  You do not need to include the $7, because ESM team will be covering this cost.  Any questions contact Jinny Petrosky or Greg Berkey.

Thinking about becoming a member of East Fairview Church?  If you are interested in becoming a member of East Fairview Church by way of transfer of your membership, reaffirmation of your faith or water baptism, please let Pastor Jimm know of your interest.

The annual Manheim Community Thanksgiving Service is scheduled for Wednesday, November 24th at 7:00pm.  This service of thanksgiving and praise, being held at Ruhl’s United Methodist Church, is planned and led by the ministers of Manheim area churches.  The Manheim Central High School Choir will provide special music. Plan now to come and worship!
