WELCOME to East Fairview Church!  We’re glad you came and hope you a warm welcome. Relax and worship…you’re among friends.  We hope our fellowship, singing, prayers, and study of God’s Word will be a blessing to God and an encouragement to you.

The offering is a weekly opportunity for our members and regular attendees to give tithes and gifts support the ministry of East Fairview Church.  Please record your visit in the black attendance folder located in your row.

The church nursery (which is available for children up to age 4) is located in the main hallway, past the restrooms, on the left.  Please feel free to entrust your children to us for this hour.

Children’s bulletins and other resources are available on the Children’s shelf in the back corner of the sanctuary.

The Powerful Reasons We Give...Part 1

November 14, 2010

It’s time to fill your shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child!  Bring your filled boxes to the church and place them on the table in the Narthex.  We will be collecting until November 21st.  There are brochures at the Welcome Desk, and at the collection table, explaining how to fill your boxes.  You do not need to include the $7, because ESM team will be covering this cost.  Any questions contact Jinny Petrosky or Greg Berkey.

Thinking about becoming a member of East Fairview Church?  If you are interested in becoming a member of East Fairview Church by way of transfer of your membership, reaffirmation of your faith or water baptism, please let Pastor Jimm know of your interest.

The annual Manheim Community Thanksgiving Service is scheduled for Wednesday, November 24th at 7:00pm.  This service of thanksgiving and praise, being held at Ruhl’s United Methodist Church, is planned and led by the ministers of Manheim area churches.  The Manheim Central High School Choir will provide special music. Plan now to come and worship!

Imagine what it would be like to be told you can no longer go to church or what it would be like to put in prison because you were a Christians. This is what many of our brothers and sisters in Christ face on a daily basis. Today is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Take some time today to lift up Christians around the world. Especially take time to pray for those in North Korea, Iran, Iraq and many other Muslim and Hindu nations. Christians in Iran are facing increased pressure to return to Islam. Also take time to thank God for the freedom we have to worship. For more information on the persecuted Church you can visit www.persecution.org  or www.opendoorsusa.org . You can also see Tina Kulp or Katelyn Hoover if you have any questions.
