This we do to the Glory of God!

WELCOME to East Fairview Church!  We’re glad you came and hope youa warm welcome. Relax and worship…you’re among friends.  We hope our fellowship, singing, prayers, and study of God’s Word will be a blessing to God and an encouragement to you.

The offering is a weekly opportunity for our members and regular attendees to give tithes and gifts support the ministry of East Fairview Church.  Please record your visit in the black attendance folder located in your row.

The church nursery (which is available for children up to age 4) is located in the main hallway, past the restrooms, on the left.  Please feel free to entrust your children to us for this hour.

Children’s bulletins and other resources are available on the Children’s shelf in the back corner of the sanctuary.

Christmas Kettle Bell Ringing

East Fairview is responsible for ringing the bells for the Salvation Army Christmas Kettle on Tuesday, December 13th.  There are still openings for more volunteers to sign up!  Money that is raised through this effort is used to help needy people in the Manheim area.  Please consider this opportunity to serve.  Sign up at the Information Desk in the lobby.  Two spots are still open for this Tuesday, December 13th

Thoughts about worship…

Worship is not about my enjoyment. It is about my enjoyment of God. It is not about my pleasure or my delight or my satisfaction. It is about my pleasure, delight, and satisfaction in God. Worship is not simply about glorifying God. It is about glorifying God by enjoying Him forever.”    -Sam Storms

Happy Birthday to...Dick Hosler, Art Hostetter, Margo Lefever, Donna Roten, Brayden Fahnestock, Mitch Hart, and Joyce Hoffer.

East Fairview Church is seeking a FAMILY MINISTRIES COORDINATOR.

COULD IT BE YOU?

The sentiment was quite strong in the Congregational Meeting that someone from our own church family would certainly know us best and could see both our needs and strengths.

A job description is available at the Hospitality Desk. Read it and PRAY. Then, LISTEN; perhaps God is speaking to YOU.

If you have discerned that calling, please contact any member of the Discipleship Team or Pastor Jimm. We will not post this position outside our extended church family just yet. If you KNOW someone that may be interested, please feel free to contact the Discipleship Team and we will make contact with them at the appropriate time.

Thank you for your prayerful consideration.
The Discipleship Team

Christmas Services

The Christmas Eve Service will begin at 7:00pm on December 24th.  Because Christmas Day is on a Sunday this year, we will be doing something a little different.  The Christmas Eve Service and the Christmas Day Worship Service will be identical this year.  Both services will feature the same songs, special music, candle lighting, bread & cup communion, and message by the pastor.  The only differences in the Sunday morning service will be some of the participants and no refreshments afterward.  The Christmas Day Service will begin at 10:00am (and there will not be Sunday School).  Everyone is invited to make a choice about which service they will attend…Christmas Eve…or Christmas Day…or both.  You decide and we’ll look forward to celebrating Christ’s birth together!

Nicole C. Mullen Concert...Nicole C. Mullen is coming to Elizabethtown for a combined birthday celebration and concert.  She will appear in concert at Leffler Chapel on the campus of Elizabethtown College on Sunday, December 18th at 6:30pm.  Leffler Chapel holds 840 people and seating will be available on a first-come basis with the doors opening at 5:45pm.  For more information about this event please read the announcement entitled “Celebration of the Father’s Love” on the bulletin board.  A free-will offering will go towards local charities.
