WELCOME to East Fairview Church!  We’re glad you came and hope you a warm welcome. Relax and worship…you’re among friends.  We hope our fellowship, singing, prayers, and study of God’s Word will be a blessing to God and an encouragement to you.

The offering is a weekly opportunity for our members and regular attendees to give tithes and gifts support the ministry of East Fairview Church.  Please record your visit in the black attendance folder located in your row.

The church nursery (which is available for children up to age 4) is located in the main hallway, past the restrooms, on the left.  Please feel free to entrust your children to us for this hour.Children’s bulletins and other resources are available on the Children’s shelf in the back corner of the sanctuary.

Women’s Fellowship

Come and enjoy a great winter activity. Unless ice and snowstorms keep us indoors, we plan to gather at the church on Tuesday, January 17th to knot comforters and cut fabric. Bring a bag lunch. Beverages are provided.

Just a reminder...there are 2012 Offering Envelopes available on the table outside of the sanctuary.  Please take a box for your offering.

CREATION 2012: As we head into winter and the cold months of January and February, its time to think about warm sunny

summer days. While it may be hard to think about Creation, its now time to register. Creation 2012 will be held from June 27-July 1. Registration Forms are available at the Welcome Desk, as well as in the Jolt and Surge Rooms. Registration Forms and half payments are due on January 29. Friends are welcome. Please see Tina Kulp or Ryan Dunlevy with any questions.

Daily devotionals (Our Daily Bread/Upper Room) are available for you to take from the bulletin board.

Looking for a creative project to do on these long, cold winter evenings? Learn to braid a wool rug or chairpad! Class begins on Saturday, January 21st from 9:30-11:30 am. There is a small cost for tools. Contact Marj Kauffman at 664-3350, or mrkauffman@dejazzd.com  to sign up, and put those tattered old moth-eaten coats and blankets to a beautiful new purpose.

Thoughts about worship…

We need to discover all over again that worship is natural to the Christian, as it was to the godly Israelites who wrote the psalms, and that the habit of celebrating the greatness and graciousness of God yields an endless flow of thankfulness, joy, and zeal.”                                       -J. I. Packer
