WELCOME to East Fairview Church! We’re glad you came and hope you a warm welcome. Relax and worship…you’re among friends. We hope our fellowship, singing, prayers, and study of God’s Word will be a blessing to God and an encouragement to you.
The offering is a weekly opportunity for our members and regular attendees to give tithes and gifts support the ministry of East Fairview Church. Please record your visit in the black attendance folder located in your row.
The church nursery (which is available for children up to age 4) is located in the main hallway, past the restrooms, on the left. Please feel free to entrust your children to us for this hour.
Children’s bulletins and other resources are available on the Children’s shelf in the back corner of the sanctuary.
Please note a correction from last week’s birthdays...it should have said Garrett Dietz instead of Gary Dietz. Happy birthday to Garrett!
February 26...an important date in history. In 1919 the Grand Canyon National Park was established. In 1928 Fats Domino was born in New Orleans. In 2011 the East Fairview Church works at the GAIN warehouse in Mt. Joy. We are having another work day at GAIN on Saturday the 26th.There will be several jobs to do, one is making gospel bead bracelets, a sit down job for any age (yes kids too) and the other is sorting and packing clothes and a third mystery job I don't know anything about yet. There is a sign-up sheet at the information desk...please sign up to work in the morning if you can.
New members will be received into the membership of East Fairview Church on Sunday, March 6th, during the morning worship service. If you desire to join with us through baptism…transfer of membership…or reaffirmation of your faith, please contact Pastor Jimm or the church office. Please come to the Café on March 6 after the first service to celebrate the baptisms, fellowship with one another and have some delicious cake! See you there!
Love INC has a ministry opportunity Are you a good listener? Do you desire to touch a life? Are you comfortable on the phone? We are looking for volunteers who can give one morning or afternoon a week, on a regular schedule, to assist the Clearinghouse staff in listening to the needs of our neighbors and helping connect them with support and assistance. If you think God is calling you to this kind of ministry, please call Love INC at 735-7540 x 100 and talk to Linda.
The 2011 Church Directory is available. Please pick up yours in your church mailbox or at the information desk.
The total amount received for Bittersweet Ministries over the past
couple weeks is $1488.00. Thank you for your generosity!
Daily devotionals (Upper Room & Our Daily Bread) for March are available in the bulletin board racks.
